Everyone who has Eggo waffles should get rid of them. They should not be in your kitchen, first because they are full of processed chemicals and all those other bad things I should not eat. The real reason is because Kellogg has recalled more than 10,000 cases Eggo waffle across 25 states because of possible contamination with listeria.
What is listeria you ask? Listeria may be several bacteria that contaminate food. The bacteria normally live in soil, faeces, or water. The most common foods that harbor bacteria include sausages processed foods (EGGO !!!), and unpasteurized dairy products.
Sometimes, people may not experience any symptoms of health when ingested bacteria. The bacteria can be fatal to children, the elderly, pregnant women, or people with weakened immune systems . It is dangerous for pregnant women because bacteria can cause sudden death of an unborn baby, or induce a lethal infection days after birth.
If you did buy a box of 10 counts Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Crackers recently, Kellogg recalled boxes from the following states:
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- New York
to determine whether your box Eggo included in the memory, you can visit the website of Kellogg. If you really want waffles, you can do it yourself by buying a waffle maker and make a vegetarian pasta with cut oats, gluten-free flour, olive oil, maple syrup grade B, baking powder, and homemade almond milk . Add a little pizzazz with a little cinnamon, allspice and fresh fruits for toppings.
Remember: homemade and fresh is always better than frozen and processed. Be careful and avoid these processed foods, which can contaminate your body.
