Mayra Rosales has lost 800 pounds since NAFTA “Half-Ton Killer,” star previously weighed 1.000 pounds, according to the television station KTLA.
“I was dying,” said the star of the media. “I do not know if he had seen pictures before – you could see in his face he had given up the life I was living, but not a life…”
Rosales for the first time to the public consciousness after being accused of accidentally “crushing” her eight-year-old nephew of death, it was as “a lie to protect her sister,” it reported KTLA reported.
She gained national attention after TLC documented case in the television show, “Half-Ton Killer?”
Prosecutors eventually dropped the charges against Rosales after determining that he lied to protect his sister.
Rosales explained that at the time, who had given up on life.
“I was dying. I do not know if he had seen the photos before you could see on his face. He had given up on life,” he told the television network. “He was alive, but not a life.”

Whereas once lived to eat, Rosales said KTRK his perspective has changed. “Food for me is that I have to eat to live … This is normal,” he said.
Rosales hopes to share her story will encourage and motivate others who are struggling with their weight as they once did.
