Warning: ‘Black henna’ tattoos may cause allergic reactions and leave you literally scarred for life.

natural henna is never black .. . Today, henna powder can be bought over the counter in stores and pharmacies. paint-on henna temporary tattoos are becoming increasingly popular, but make them look more like a real tattoo, para-phenylenediamine (PPD) is added to ‘black henna’. Allergic reactions are often due to the PPD. Many tourists want these tattoos knowing that they are not painful and not permanent. However, henna tattoos can have a longer effect than we thought. Henna tattoos are very popular at parties, festivals, and in many vacation spots. So how do you know if the artist you are considering is the use of black henna? There are some very basic questions that can be made. First, I must say that some artists do not realize they’re using PPD henna / black and are convinced that they are using a “natural henna black” because it is the way it has been sold to them. Unfortunately, all of them (without exception) have been found to be very insecure. Even with respect to powders “natural black henna” sold, samples from a variety of sources were taken to a laboratory for analysis and all that have tested positive for PPD. (I have not tried these powders personally, but a trusted companion henna artist I know personally did). The bottom line is … better safe than sorry. Henna is a paste made of crushed and branches of the henna plant leaves. The paste can also be made from dried leaves of the plant by mixing it with hot water. When this paste is applied on the skin (like writing a marker) and left for a few hours, it leaves orange dark brown spot on the skin that fades in 7 to 14 days. therefore, here are some key questions to ask ;? How long will I need to keep the pasta in my skin – natural henna needs remain for 4-8 hours, the longer the better – Black henna usually only about 1 hour or less what color the stain will be -? natural henna – orange-brown or reddish brown – Black henna – BLACK (Source: Viral4Real )
