Victor Richards – Uncrowned King Of Bodybuilding Who Doesn’t Compete

Victor Richards found No bodybuilding; bodybuilding found. Upon entering the world of bodybuilding it is intimidating to most, but to be thrust into the public eye since the age of 16 years is incomprehensible. As a young man, Victor learned that he could use his natural genetic way to achieve the goals I had in life. Bodybuilding was never his plan, but allowed the platform to teach others and help them reach their full potential. Victor quickly learned that bodybuilding was more comprehensive in their need for physical and mental well-being rather than physical show.

philosophies of Vic in bodybuilding have been controversial within the industry. Its focus on competition with oneself rather than defeat other has not been well received in the world of bodybuilding. Vic’s philosophy is that motivation must come from within, not without via trophies, awards, etc. His holistic approach to bodybuilding incorporates mind, body and spirit; this point unconventional view has led to criticism of their commitment to the bodybuilding industry.

ability to Victor unmask the false gurus and sellers of snake oil with its focus on finding their supplements in the hallways of products from the grocery store has not become popular in the industry that promotes supplements and vitamins as the main source of nutrition. His philosophy is that the main source of nutrition for a person to be found in natural foods and everything else is secondary to a person’s health and wellbeing.

Why not compete? We have heard many!

VR: First, I think the reasons I started lifting weights are different, 99% of people who went to the gym. I had an experience with bodybuilding unlike many other people who train. I took it beyond the physical and mental. . . to a spiritual experience. Bodybuilding became spiritual for me. And jumping on stage did not feel quite spiritual. Just as the synagogue’s rabbi, the Vatican the Pope; the gym was my spiritual ground. Having competed on stage, which is more than spectacular would be like bringing a stripper to the holy temple. Before going to the gym and had dreamed all my training, my recovery and my growth was visualized. To allow a panel of judges to determine the value of me when I was not doing this for anyone but me seemed crazy to me. He also knew that if I was competing and having Endorsements my voice would try to be muted. It happened anyway.

VR: Because I did not compete, Wayne Demilia (IFBB honcho at the time) I locked by host having employment in the US .. No one was going to hire and Demilia reminded me that if guests posed-for other organizations, I would fall IFBB Pro card. This is why most of my presentation and guest appearances took place in Europe. That is why I never saw you in contests in the US .. However, this only motivated me more. This also indirectly led to my posedown with Mr. Olympia Dorian [Yates] in FIBO in Germany. The posedown was actually orchestrated by John Brown (Mr. Universe). He said “Victor’ve seen bodybuilders and we have seen bodybuilding. Victor who are the builders bodybuilder. You must be seen!” These giants of the sport could look at me and say I was not in GH or insulin because my stomach was not relaxed like the rest of its champions. After that incident I found it funny that people who were friends of my face actually were threatened by my presence on stage. The only people who were greeting Lenda Murray and Kevin were Levrone. Kevin called me and told me to compete any show I entered would be mine. He told me he thought he could win Mr. Olympia hands down. He hired me on the spot hosting raised in your local APN program was held in Maryland. Imagine a Pro bodybuilder pay me to pose for his show. He had just won the Arnold Classic and was placed second in the last Mr.Olympia! Still he is chosen not to compete because he would not compromise my principles. I have the feeling that training was so powerful, so spiritual that he would not do anything to risk that feeling. Nor was he willing to risk my health. All those people who clap for me if I got on stage; They would be at my funeral if he died from the rigors of contest preparation? Diuretics and dehydration were not things I was even willing to consider. For me it has always been on welfare, balance and health.
