Samantha Gash is an Australian athlete start resistance 3800 km of running one across India Jaisalmer in Rajasthan to Mawsynram in Meghalaya on August 22 to raise funds for the education of underprivileged children in India.
Turn-on execution across India?
I’ll see things in India that most Indians have ever seen. I am very excited that I will experience the diversity of the country, to see how people change as the landscape changes and how culture and mentality language influence. I have been researching this career for more than three years, following the news of India, both political and regions.
What are your fears
I have concerns about my own ability to do ?; to be able to handle what I see, and, of course, I’m nervous about my safety and my team. I have spent time working through safety components thereof. Also, I have to be prepared for the unexpected and run much slower than deal with the heat.
Why are you running?
The operation is my form of personal meditation. When I run, I do not think about my to-do list. In addition, a career that never feels bad was finished, I always feel happy and alive. I get to engage with people and see some of the most extreme environments on the planet.
What are your tips to increase the resistance?
If you go from the couch to 5k, you have to do it slowly and given milestones.
Run with friends and make it fun, because at the end of the day just running, not life or death.
Make sure you have proper nutrition. Some people, such as carbohydrates and some as a high fat and oil diet. fats and oils high work for me. My diet is coconut oil, almond nuts and fatty fish among other things
Everyone gets injuries. The body will break down at different times, but if you build slowly, it will be fine. Hopefully it will be pain sometimes, but that’s okay.
