The Pennsylvania Auditor General wants to get rid of standardized tests
Your children may not take the Keystone Exam in a few years because the state auditor general wants to remove it.
Taxpayers are spending tens of millions of dollars on the exams, even after the federal government eliminated the standardized testing requirement in 2015, according to Eugene DePasquale.

He also said that it is time for Pennsylvania to join at least 12 other states and choose not to participate.
Between 2015 and 2021, Pennsylvania will have spent almost $ 100 million on the tests, said the auditor general.
He recommends moving to the SAT instead.
