The Best Home Remedies For Corns And Calluses

Aloe Vera

Apply some fresh aloe vera gel on the affected area and leave to dry area. Rinse with warm water. You can also combine the gel with vitamin E oil for best results.

Green or Black Tea

Both of these teas have antiinflammatory properties powerful, but green tea is only slightly more effective. Pour 250 ml of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Set it aside and put a bag of green tea or black in it, leaving it in 5 minutes. Then let the tea to cool to room temperature. Soak a cotton ball in the liquid and apply it on the corn, leaving it on for 15-30 minutes. Repeat the treatment 2-3 a day until completely healed.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E stimulates the healing process and prevents scarring . Take one capsule of vitamin E and oil poured on the callus. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes and repeat the treatment every day.


Thanks to the ingredients it contains, such as baking soda and mint toothpaste can help treat their painful calluses. Apply a dab of toothpaste on the affected area and leave it for about 2 hours zone. Rinse with warm water and apply moisturizer. Repeat the treatment once or twice a day until completely healed.

Chamomile tea has certain properties that will reduce the pain and inflammation caused by corns. Prepare a batch of strong chamomile tea and let cool to room temperature. Take a cotton ball. Soak it in tea and apply it on the affected area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and repeat the treatment for a couple of times a day.

Apple cider vinegar

ACV has strong anti-bacterial properties which means it can prevent infection, once the blisters burst. It should be mentioned that the application of ACV may cause some redness and a burning sensation so if you decide to use this remedy a very small amount of only the affected area is applied.


Curcumin is considered as a natural antiseptic so it is no surprise that can help relieve pain, reduce inflammation and prevent infection. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric with a little water to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on the callus and leave for 10-15 minutes. Repeat the treatment twice a day until completely healed.

IMPORTANT : Never pop the blisters of a corn or callus, only make things worse. If it is causing a lot of pain you could try the following:

  • should wash your hands thoroughly
  • Take a clean needle and unused
  • clean with alcohol
  • Pierce the blister from the side and let drop the liquid out
  • wash the area with soap and water
  • Apply some antiseptic and covered with a bandage
  • Change the bandage every day

Never remove the top of the blister unless it is extremely dirty or pus is coming out of it.
