Summer Berry Yogurt Parfait With Homemade Granola

parfaits are tempting treats made with whole fresh ingredients and no sugar refined. Unless, of course, that is buying cafes or fast food restaurants. So you could be in more sugar, gelatin, starch and calories than I expected. Making your own ice cream dessert is not only easy to do, but also lets you add sweeteners unprocessed, whole berries and healthy granola mix.

Farmers’ markets are full of fresh summer berries, so it is now the time to stock up. And, of course, if you can not reach a farmers market, check out the frozen section in your supermarket store for non-GMO, berries organic.

  • 3 cups fashioned oatmeal (make sure your oats are free certificates gluten, if necessary)
  • 1 cup almond pieces
  • 1/2 drink pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 drink unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 drink berries goji dry (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 drink cranberries or dried cherries (sugarless)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • 02.01 teaspoon tan
  • 1/2 drink melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 drink maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 drink coconut oil, melted
  • 02.01 cup maple syrup

Summer Berry Parfait:

  • 3 drink mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries)
  • 1/4 drink maple syrup
  • 1 fourth Greek plain yogurt
  • 2 cups homemade granola
  • 5 250-ml bottles and mason caps

Servings: glass jars



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl, combine oats, almonds, seeds, coconut, nuts, salt and cinnamon. Stir to mix.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix vanilla oil coconut and maple syrup. Pour over granola mixture and mix well.

  3. granola Pour into prepared pan and spread in an even layer. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes, stirring halfway. The crunchy granola will be up as it cools. Let cool completely before breaking and store in an airtight container.

  4. For the parfait of yogurt, add 1/2 berries and maple syrup in a medium saucepan. Cook until slightly soft – about 5 minutes – enough to release the juice. Add the remaining berries and mix.

  5. Add two tablespoons of fruit in the background of glass jars. Top with two tablespoons of yogurt and sprinkle with granola. Repeat the process you end up with fruit on top. Sprinkle additional granola over fruit.
