Nuts Lower Cholesterol Levels

Your heart could actually benefit from the nuts. Do you think it’s a joke. Well not really. We have reasons to support this claim! Nuts can drastically reduce the risk of heart disease by dilating blood vessels and prevent any hardening of blood vessels.

Recently, there was research conducted in order to identify the potential reason behind how it helps in reducing coronary heart disease nuts and cholesterol levels. The conclusions are very healthy and revolutionary. Nurses Health Study, for example, found that people who ate five or more ounces of nuts per week cut risk of developing heart disease by 35 percent compared with those who did not.

Monounsaturated fats actually reduce high low density lipoprotein (LDL) levels or bad cholesterols in the blood. Researchers say that nuts contain healthy substances to the heart that lower cholesterol levels. These include:
