Cumin is one of my Indian spices herbs favorite with a lot of health benefits. I was aware of its medicinal properties, though never gone thoroughly. I recently met with my doctor friend of one of Ayurveda and asked me to do R & D and write something about the cumin and said it is such a valuable herb, just smiled with a mysterious smile. I started reading about it in depth several books of Ayurveda and alternative medicines and compiled their health benefits and simply got amazed about this wonder spice. I have written a full post on it for weight loss quick check. It is one of the vital spice in Indian cuisine and a part of their daily diet. I’m sure many of you add this new member in your kitchen and diet for a naturally healthy life.

Diabetes: Manage level of blood sugar with a simple intake of ground cumin with a glass of water twice daily. It is very beneficial for patients with diabetes
Constipation :. Take cumin, black pepper, dried ginger and curry powder and mix in equal amounts to prepare mixed powder. Combine it with butter / butter and add salt according to taste and take with rice. It will erase bowel moment and relive constipation.
