How to Heat Up a Sock with Himalayan Salt and Lavender to Treat Earache and Infection

Salt ear infection REMEDY

  • 1 sock cotton or organic cotton muslin bag
  • ½ cup Himalayan salt crystals
  • 2 tbsp. dried lavender flowers or 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil


-Put salt and lavender in the sock / bag and seal tightly.

-Heat in a pan over low heat or in the microwave for about half a minute

-Apply the bag / sock over the painful area, making sure it is not too hot

. Note: Although this remedy is very effective in pulling moisture out of the ear, consult your doctor and consider using other resources if the infection is more severe
