How to get rid of your unwanted pills on Friday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – People who want to get rid of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs can do so on Friday.

Several organizations are working together for a prescription drug return initiative on Friday. Collection sites will be available throughout Allen County so that people can dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs that will be disposed of properly without danger to the environment.

Medications can be left at the following locations between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The program is for pills medicine. Needles, new or used, will not be accepted for disposal. The service is free and anonymous without questions.
