Garlic For Abscess Tooth

When bacteria infect a broken or otherwise damaged tooth, an abscess may form in the tissue beneath her, causing swelling, pain and tenderness.

Before spending money on expensive dental procedures, try using garlic to cure your dental abscess. It is natural and affordable and that kills the bacteria that cause tooth infections that lead to abscesses. Let’s take a look at how garlic helps in the treatment of dental abscesses.

1. Garlic

The easiest way to use garlic is chewing a fresh tooth for 5-10 minutes. To avoid stomach upset, spit it out instead of swallowing. If an entire nail is too strong, try putting a slice of fresh garlic between dental abscess and the inside of the cheek. Hold it there for 5-10 minutes and then spit it out. Do this twice a day and be sure to brush your teeth after freshen breath.

2. Garlic with salt

Salt creates an alkaline environment in the mouth, where bacteria can not survive. Use organic sea salt for this method.

  • Using a mortar and pestle, grind 4 garlic cloves.

  • Mashed 4 cloves garlic in blender.
  • Mix the mashed garlic with 2 tablespoons of organic peanut butter.

If you can not get fresh garlic, garlic powder is a good alternative.

  • For an added benefit, garlic powder mix with sea salt.

6. Garlic Oil

  • Rub the garlic oil in dental abscess.
  • Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse with salt water.
  • Repeat twice a day.

7. The garlic juice

  • Crush peeled garlic cloves to extract the juice.
  • Apply the juice of dental abscess and leave 10 minutes.
  • Rinse with salt water.
  • Repeat twice a day.

8. The garlic powder and onion powder

  • Mix 1 tablespoon garlic powder, onion powder and sea salt.
  • stir the mixture into 8 ounces of water.
  • swish in the mouth for 5 minutes, then spit it out and rinse with salt water.

Tips and Precautions:

For best results, follow the tips below when using garlic to treat dental abscesses.

  • Garlic can cause burning or stinging. This can be alleviated with salt water.
  • Raw garlic is more effective than cooked garlic for these remedies.
  • If you have a fever, consult a doctor immediately.
  • The National Institute of Health recommends stopping garlic treatments before surgical procedures to prevent prolonged bleeding.
  • Take plain Greek yogurt with chopped garlic to strengthen your immune system.
  • Include garlic in your regular diet to prevent bacterial infection from within.
  • Use pureed garlic tooth brushing 3 days a week to prevent infection.
  • Always brush after meals to prevent food particles that cause infection.
  • Also try taking garlic supplements to prevent the growth of bacteria inside the body. The recommended dose is 1500 mg.
