FDA WARNING: Papa John’s Salad And Produce Recalls Due To Possible Listeria!

Another voluntarily recalling salad Phoenix Arizona Papa John and Produce, Inc.

They are withdrawing their oriental salad with sesame ginger dressing due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. This voluntary recall is being conducted with the Administration Food and Drug as the recalled products listed below contain sunflower seeds are a fragment of the last expansion of core reminder SunOpta sunflower .

What is Listeria monocytogenes?

Listeria monocytogenes is the species of pathogenic bacteria that causes listeriosis infection. It is an optional, able to survive in the presence or absence of oxygen anaerobic bacteria.

listeriosis in the European Union continues an upward trend that began in 2008, causing 2,161 confirmed cases and 210 deaths registered in 2014, 16% more than in 2013. Mortality rates of listeriosis are also found in the EU than the other food-Borne pathogens.

Although healthy individuals can only go through short-term symptoms such as:

6. Diarrhea

Currently, Pope John salads and Produce, Inc. . It is working closely with our customers to remove the products from store shelves and their subsequent distribution. As for consumers who have already purchased these items, are now advised to discard them or return them to the store where you originally bought THEM . The expiration date is located on the left side of the 10 oz package and top of the 13 Oz. package.
