Dry Fruits Laddu Recipe for Toddlers and Kids

Today I present a sugarless Laddu nuts nutritious and healthy recipe Poha I made with red as a base. These laddus are ideal for children over one year.

I’m using almonds / Badam, nuts / akhrot, pistachio / track and raisins / Kismis for today’s recipe. Please feel free to add your favorite dried fruits like cashew nuts / walnuts and hazelnuts treating process.

roast all the nuts, raisins or Kismis except in a heavy-bottomed Kadai. Transfer to a bowl and let cool completely.

red Poha Bake for 4 to 5 minutes in the same tava over medium heat until crisp. Shred both toasted and crunchy nuts Poha to a powder. Add brown sugar and cardamom powder.

Take 2 tablespoons hot butter and add to the powder mixture. Continue mixing until you can roll the balls out of the mix. Once you get the consistency of rolling a Laddu out of the mix, make balls out of it using butter as needed.

Our unsweetened dried fruit nut laddus are ready.

dried fruits Laddu Recipe using Red Poha and Jaggery

  • Poha Red , endorsement or flattened rice – 1 cup
  • nuts (I used almonds, walnuts, pistachios and raisins) – ½ cup
  • brown sugar powder – ½ cup
  • cardamom – 2 nos / cardamom powder – 1 pinch
  • Ghee – 4 to 6 tablespoons
  1. Heat a heavy-bottomed pan and add 1 teaspoon of butter and add in nuts (except raisins / Kismis). Roast them over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep aside to cool.
  2. In the same pan, add the red or Aval Poha. Asada over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. No Poha roasting at high heat, as it may lose its flavor below. Once the Poha is crisp, remove from heat and allow it to reach normal temperature.
  3. Poha roast and grind the mixture of nuts, along with Kismis for a few seconds to get a mix / powder lightly crushed.
  4. Add brown powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the mix. Mix well.
  5. Heat the butter and add a little butter 2 tablespoons of the mixture of brown sugar and Poha. Continue mixing for about one minute until they are able to make a Laddu out of the mix. If the mixture is dry, add little more ghee. The amount required depends shea nuts. So add the butter only if necessary.
  6. Take small amount of the mixture in hand and spread in the form of a ball or Laddu.

These dry store ladoos fruit and for more than 10 days, although my action has already received more than a few hours ? make them stored in an airtight container.

Try to give one Laddu a day to children as something more than that can be burdensome for small stomachs.
