When a police officer in South Carolina responded to the call from a 13-year-old, he Never expected what would happen next.

13 years old, Cameron Simmons made a call in difficulty Sumter Police Department. Officer Gaetano Acerra was the man who paid the child a home visit. At a meeting one-on-one with Cameron, the official knew that the child would run away from home distraught. He said his mother was yelling at him for playing games of his older brother. Official Acerra but soon learned the problem was much deeper than that.

Cameron took the officer inside his house, and then to your room. His room was completely empty. His clothes were thrown into a garbage bag. He did not even have a bed.

The official learned Cameron’s mother fell into disgrace after having to make an unexpected move from Texas to South Carolina to care for a sick family member.
